As the Pianist Directory grows, we want you to grow with us. We are welcoming pianists, piano teachers, tuners & technicians, and movers. We would like the Pianist Directory to serve as a one-stop shop for these piano pros.
As a pianist myself, I’ve come to know the challenges that go hand in hand with efforts to make a living as a freelance musician. I have also served as a piano teacher and tuner. The same can be true for these professions. While I cannot claim any experience as a piano mover, I’m certain that you can relate if you’re one waiting for the phone to ring.
This is not true in all areas, I’m sure. Demographics play a huge role in terms of whether or not a small business in the music industry struggles or thrives. But so does one’s attitude and commitment along the journey.
Having been musically involved since the age of seven (when my piano lessons began), I feel a special camaraderie with those who are connected to those 88 keys in any way, shape, or form.
The communication with “piano pals” through this site is very much appreciated. In short, I like serving them.
